          In 1997, Salvadore Poe had a life changing moment of surrender in which he went from being a fully engaged musician to being thrust onto the path of spiritual seeking, with no looking back.

          Soon he began attending long meditation retreats, meeting and spending time with many teachers, including U.G. Krishnamurti, Toni Packer and Douglas Harding, and finally living in India, first with a sage from Puttur named Ajja, and then with a yogi sage named Sivasakthiammaiyar in Tiruvannamalai.
